Terms of Service

By accessing or using Chiron at https://chiron.life, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Chiron Performance System (“Chiron,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Chiron is not a medical device under FDA, CE, or any other regulatory framework. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

• Heart rate, HRV, sleep, glucose, and other biometric data displayed in Chiron are sourced from third-party wearables and sensors. Chiron does not independently validate the clinical accuracy of this data.
• AI coaching responses are generated for general wellness and performance optimization purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or psychological advice.
• If you experience a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on Chiron for emergency guidance.
• Readiness scores, training load calculations, and recovery recommendations are algorithmic estimates based on aggregated sensor data. Individual responses vary significantly. These outputs should not be used to override clinical judgment.

You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and act on information provided by Chiron.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Chiron. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be terminated.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration. Misrepresentation, including use of another person’s identity, is prohibited.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at james.k.sternlicht@live.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use Chiron for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to access another user’s data without authorization
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape any part of the Chiron platform
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to Chiron
• Use the service to transmit any malware, spam, or harmful code
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access-control mechanism

Chiron provides a practitioner access model allowing coaches, physicians, or trainers to view a client’s data and send directives. Practitioners agree that:

• Access is granted solely by the client and may be revoked at any time
• Practitioner accounts must represent a real, qualified individual or organization
• Chiron data should be used as a supplement to, not a replacement for, standard clinical or coaching practices
• Practitioners are independently responsible for their professional advice and recommendations
• Misuse of practitioner access to harvest data or contact clients outside the platform is prohibited

Chiron connects to third-party services including Garmin, WHOOP, Oura, Strava, Eight Sleep, Dexcom, and others. Your use of these integrations is also governed by the respective third-party terms of service and privacy policies. Chiron is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party platforms.

When you authorize a third-party integration, you grant Chiron permission to retrieve and store data from that service on your behalf for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

All Chiron software, design, algorithms, and content (excluding your personal health data) are the property of Chiron Performance System and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

Your personal health data remains yours. You grant Chiron a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chiron and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Decisions made based on AI coaching outputs or biometric analytics
• Injuries, health outcomes, or physical consequences related to training recommendations
• Loss of data due to technical failure, cyberattack, or service interruption
• Inaccuracies in third-party sensor data ingested by Chiron

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD.

The Chiron service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to other users or the integrity of the platform. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at james.k.sternlicht@live.com.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data per Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.

We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
